Most supermarkets in the major cities and regional towns in Australia now stock fresh Kangaroo. I know that Woolworths do.

to the person that asked why we eat kangaroos .. i am the only person in my family to eat it... lol i upset them when i tell them that i'm going to dine on Skippy...

but it tastes good and is very lean , high in protein and tender ... roos are abundant .. so why not :)

You should be able to buy the meat from your local butcher. Dont go to the supermarket butcher I dont think they will have it, go to one that has their own independent shop.

people eat kangaroos cos otherwise they go to waste wen they get culled in overpopulated areas. waste not want not... plus altho it smells gross wen u cook it, it tastes pretty good.
