I've recently admitted to my self that I am bisexual. I've told my girlfriend, two of my best friends, and one of my other friends. I don't know if I should really come out to everyone, though. I would, most people I care about wouldn't mind, but I just am nervous about taking that step.
But my little brother can be a real jerk sometimes and his friends are even worse. My dad, too, is known to make a wise crack or two about everyone, not excluding homo/bisexuals. My entire mom's side of the family also is very homophobic and wouldn't hate me or make fun of me, but would be nervous around me and I don't want that because I love them and they are my favorite family members. My mom and sisters, though, wouldn't mind, and most of my friends wouldn't, though they'd have to take time to get over it.
Just want some advise because this is getting really stressful.

Coming out is a very difficult thing. Telling the wrong people too early can cause problems with telling others. Be very careful whom you tell. Having been through what you are going through myself (I'm gay), I can tell you that on one hand, it can be very liberating (no more hiding in the closet), and on the other hand it can be very nerve-wracking for all the reasons you've listed above. Eventually, you may have to tell some people in your life that if they can't accept you, then you won't be around them, and you will be better off without them, even if you don't feel that way from the start.

Embrace your sexuality. As for coming out, only you can decide when and to whom.

But you don't owe anyone an explanation.
