Intel Celeron D2.26GHz,?

Question

Can somebody explain to me if the Intel Celeron is better than a Pentium 4 and also if it will be able to have internet broadband access?

celeron 1.4 ghz don´t is better than a pentium 4 ghz
celeron 2.26 it´s better than a pentium 4 1.4ghz 2.0 ghz
but dont it's better than a pentium 4 2.26 ghz

the cpu have a more speed processing , the ALU
aritmethic Logic have more speed processing
but don´t worry this ok for internet connection

you can work very well if you have memory card (256 mb o more)

They are both good processors, the Pentium range is aimed at gaming and movie editing, whilst the celeron was desigened more for office use and general computer use such as word processing and surfing the net. For general use go for the celeron because they don't use as much power as the Pentium and they don't get as hot. They can still run some games, although the new high end games won't perform very well on them. I have a Celeron D2.8ghz in my desktop and it is a great chip.

Pentium 4 is a better quality processor for high-end multimedia applications such as video, audio programs. If your just running standard office apps and not doing anything fancy than the Celeron will be fine for you. The type of processor you have won't affect if you can get broadband or not, just make sure your PC has a Ethernet connection. You local internet provider will determine if you have DSL or Cable accessibility or not.

A Celeron is a pentium 4 but missing some of the higher cache memory and runs slower than a regular Pentium 4 of the same clock speed and it will run on the broadband.
