is it good or bad to have mars and venus in the same element?

Question

for example my venus is in taurus and my mars is in capricorn.
Anyone who is good at this let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks!

Of course it is. That's basic astrology 101. They are both in earth signs. 'Course you didn't say which sign your sun was in, but since mars is never more -- well, your sun would either be in sag, cap, or aquarius. Venus in Taurus trines mars in Capricorn, and just short and basic, male and female. You will have an ease dealing with -- man, there's a bazillion things, interpretations. But in general, You will get along well with your bosses, older men, relatives may leave you an inheritance. Venus in taurqus is one who likes comforts, and having the trine to mars is almost a given (without other aspects, birthtime, etc) that you will get /have all you need in life to feel comfortable. You will experience much joy, freedom from financiql woes and security ater the age of 40, as it may take you that long to decide exactly who and what you want from life. If you have siblings, you have one that is very good-looking, but prone to throat problems, tonsillitis, that kind of thing, but may be a gifted singer, musician. Your brother, if you have one, tends to act old before his time, act like the whole world is upon his houlders. Your father may have or has a terrible temper, but gets over it quickly once he lets off steam. As quick as he is to anger, he's quick to forget. May also have a receeding hairline or bald. You, having venus in Taurus, depending house it's in and aspects thereto, would give you a beautiful voice, a throat that men want to buy you jewelry for, etc. Like I said, many things to take into account. These are just generals. Venus trine mars gives ease in dealing with male/female relationships. You can understand how the male mind works, especially those who have been hurt and are hesistant to trust again. And you will atract men who are kindly disposed towards you and want to do for you. Again, I don't know where your sun is or what house it is in. Any time planets are in the same element, it's excellent. It's a trine, no matter how many degrees apart. Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) trine; brings us ease and blessings. Fire signs: Aries, Leo, Sag, same thing. Air signs, Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, same thing.
And baks, with all due respect, I don't know where you've been studying astrology for 25 years, but you haven't a clue what you're talking about.
Elements, qualities, houses, signs, placements, are basic astrology; stuff you should have learned the first 3 months of basic astrology, if you had a good, professional, astrologer to teach you to begin with. Even books teach you that stuff. If you wish, I can recommend some.

My friend,i have studied astrology for 25 years,but nowhere have i come across any suggestion about Mars and Venus becoming benefic or malefic if they are in the same element.Yes,if Mars and Venus are in the same sign,more so very close to each other by degrees,the sex outlook of the person could get affected.Either he or she will be very passionate or not very interested in sex or sometimes even could be deviant depending upon other factors in the horoscope.This is because the strength of Mars in a horoscope signifies the extent of male sexuality in the person whose horoscope is under study and the strength of venus in the horoscope indicates the extent of female sexuality.Obviously if the two planets Mars and Venus are conjuct in a horoscope,there will be excess sexuality or otherwise depending on the relative strengths of Mars and Venus and the gender of the native.But all this is only if there is a conjuction of Mars and venus in the horoscope.This in no way would apply to the same element.

Well, I know that Venus is the ruler of love and mars is the ruler of action and so basically you have venus in taurus which means that that is the way you feel towards love and that is what you yearn for, while your mars is the way that you go about getting what you long for. Since your venus is in taurus it means that you yearn for things in a taurus kind of way and since your mars is in capricorn, it means that you go after it in a way that a capricorn handles things.
