How do you capture Steelix on Pokemon Ranger?

I'd want to know what to expect as an attack from it & what will happen. So what should I do?

ok this was a problem for me too...according to the strategy guide you want a sneasel and a raichu...sneasel has the ability to lengthen your capture line at the cost of a chunk of your styler energy...because of steelix's size, you basically have to run the styler around the edge of the screen, because if you even touch steelix, your styler's gonna take a beating...hope you've got your circling speed up, stretch your fingers, pop your knuckles, and get ready for a tough capture...

Well here's something that might of some help to you. It worked for me but you have to do it right. First the only thing Steelix really has as an attack is its hard body. Never ever touch it otherwise it'll break the Styler. Second of all, I would suggest catching the Sneasel nearby and grabbing it then when you go into a match with Steelix, wait until it curls up. Once it does, use Sneasel's assist and curl as quick as possible. Hopefully it works otherwise keep on trying. Only try to catch it when it curls up.
