Since I don't know any details, here is a good general rule to apply whenever you discover you've made any kind of mistake.

The first thing you do is make your apologies. Totally sincere, and from the bottom of your heart. Then you ask "how can I fix this? What can I do?" Whatever it is, do it as quickly as possible. Apologize one more time.

Then go on about your life and don't beat yourself up about it.

And remember, when you learn a lesson from a mistake, it makes it a life experience. If you REPEAT IT, it's Still just a mistake.

O.K. Here is the short version. If you have made a mistake and you want to "fix" it, just don't ever allow it to happen again. That is about all you can do. That said, you have to go back in reverse and "fix" whatever it is you "broke". Whatever you did, go undo it.
