Why pay for RAM??
1GB is big enough.
Using registry cleaner can fix your pc and then make your pc faster,Why?the reason is that there are some regsitry errors in your PC to cause "Computer slow".

Well this a damn good configuration for average use. But if you are playing heavy graphical games, time to upgrade your RAM and graphics card. But if you are using your computer for browsing, music and other similar applications, slowness of your PC is a concern. This may be due to various reasons:
1. Anti-virus or some sort of a scan is running on your PC. Once its over, you will feel better.
2. There is some spyware, virus is installed on your machine and they are running some background process which is making your PC slow. Go to task manager and check the services tab. Kill whatever you don't know.
3. Disconnect your peripherals like printer and hard drives and see the difference.
4. Desktop search engines also slow down your machine.
Good Luck with your machine.

The memory upgrade actually won't help a tremendous amount as Windoze doesn't allocate any memory except in HiMem (256K) for critical operations. Usually the culprit is programs that run in the background. Any multimedia, fancy desktops, monitoring software, etc. will hurt performance. You didn't state whether you where running Windoze or not. If you are you can go to run/msconfig and uncheck some of the startup programs that you don't really need.

Good luck

You may need to get more virtual memory. Right click on my computer click properties, then go to the advanced tab, then click setting under the performance tab, then click the advanced tab, then the change tab under Virtual memory were ti says Initial size (MB) put 3000 and under Maximum size (MB) put 4500. Click set then ok and you may have to restart.
