You might want to try Duromine. They come in two strengths 15mg and 30mg capsules. I think they are a little expensive as they arent on the PBS, so expect to pay around $75 for a months supply. They are an effective appetite suppresant, but can make you a bit 'hyper' as they are amphetamine based :)
You shouldnt take them if you are taking prozac or other similar anti depressants though, it can make depression worse as the duromine works on the same part of the brain and the two drugs interract badly.
Failing that, you could do what I did and have a lapband inserted. I have lost just over 90kg so far !!
Best of luck...
Julie

I tried that Xenical, wow it was really hard to take. I am sure you know what I mean. I take phentermene (sp?) It works great, you have to remember to eat. I have been taking for 3 months, so far 42 lbs. Good luck.

I had luck on Meridia (sibutramine) -- lost about 20lbs.
It has limited success -- I have since stalled -- but it alleviates my IBS-D -- so I stay on it.
It isn't for people with high blood pressure -- but ask your Dr. if it might work for you
It works to boost metabolism and make you feel full sooner. So you still have to modify your diet to make sure you eat well and the right amounts -- and exercise -- that is the thing that makes or breaks your weight loss. Even walking more helps.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
