Good joke, but unfortunately it wont work that way. The phrase sick as a dog is a simile. It was created because someone realized how sick some dogs get and used it to elaborate on their pain. The phrase sick as a human wont work because a human is typically not sick and is well. So it makes no sense to say sick as a human although it is quite amusing to say that.

I love it... Great question... I was laied up all day with a cold and fever.. I happened to look at my very healthy dog and realized I was nowhere as sick as him... But he has his bad days and I will tell you this, No dog is or ever will be as sick as a Human. My dog has taught me so much about life. If I could only be like him and my children or if we could all be this way what a beautiful world it would be....

Seriously though; Technically, I would have to say no to your question because sick as a dog means your usually really sick; so sick as a human could not happen to a dog.

A dog could be as physically sick as a human, but it could never be as mentally sick as some humans can be.

yes, humans say they are sick as a dog because to us, dogs usually get really sick, but in the dog viewpoint, dogs see humans as getting sicker than them....something to think about...bahaha...â¥
