Prenatal pills are not only for when you are pregnant. It is strongly advised to start taking them a few months before you would like to try and conceive. When I told my obgyn I wanted to start TTC, she told me to start taking a prenatal vitamin (as did most of my friends when TTC). I don't think they'll increase your chances of conceiving, but by taking them it will prepare your body for pregnancy. It is always a good idea to do what you can to prepare your body for pregnancy. Good luck!

I even have never heard of a prenatal assisting you conceive. It helps your toddler improve properly. So while you are trying to get pregnant you could desire to be taking them already. The longer your on them until now you're pregnant the less danger there is of your toddler having delivery defects. Now that I stated that i choose to assert that I had issues getting pregnant additionally. What i replaced into informed is my pH stability may be off. So my mom informed me an previous better halves tell to attempt. Its a cap of apple cider vinegar, a table spoon of honey, in a pitcher which you replenish with water. Drink it as quickly as an afternoon. I did it for a month and that i've got been given pregnant. i'm no longer say it real or that it will paintings yet once you fairly choose slightly one you could desire to attempt it.

Yes and no.

There's no doubt that your nutritional status is very important to your fertility. Some very common causes of effective infertility are from nutrtional deficits, even in women who appear well noursihed.

Definitely invest in a healthy, organic diet. Use supplements as needed, especially folic acid. See the book Fertily, Cycles and Nutrition by M. Shannon and the WestonAPrice.org website.

Are you charting your fertility signs? If your period isn't coming, it seems pretty clear you're anovulatory. If you aren't ovulating, you won't bleed. Having your period doesn't make you ovulate, so I don't know how provera would help.

If you're not already, I highly recommend charting your fertility signs. Your chart can tell you when you are fertile, when you are not, when you are ovulating, when to expect your next period, and when to suspect pregnancy. Your chart can also tell you if there are issues delaying conception or causing difficulty w/ carrying a pregnancy and if there are serious issues which need a doc's attention.

Some good sources for charting your fertility signs: Fertilityfriend.com (free software as well as a pay-for version and on-line charting turorial); ovusoft.com (discussion boards for many fertility related issues, much info on fertility after the pill, and a very good software for purchase). The books Taking Charge of Your Fertility (associated w/ the the ovusoft website and software), The Art of Natural Family Planning, and Garden of Fertility

I think they just give you the supplements so that when you do get pregnant it keeps you and the baby healthy. Ask your doctor to make sure and you can also ask your doctor to make sure to give you something to help you get pregnant. Prenatal pills are normally just vitamins that are full of things like folic acid that you don't normally get a lot of but that you need if you are planning on getting pregnant and that he would prescribe if you told your doctor that you were hoping to do so in the next little time. But if you're having a hard time and you've been trying then you might think about moving onto the next step. It might get expensive but it depending on your circumstances it most definitely could be worth it.

Prenatal pills does not increase your chance on getting pregnant but it helps your body before, during and after pregnancy. My daughter is 6 months and I am still taking it. I started when I wanted to get pregnant, the vitamins help your body prepare for pregnancy, and during pregnancy it gives you the vitamins you need, and it's good for you after pregnancy too. I would recommend you take them they are good for you and they are full of vitamins for your body. Buy them from Walmart, the Equate brand is the same as the materna from Centrumm (sp?). Good luck.

By prenatal pills do you mean prenatal vitamins? If so, they don't increase your chance, you need fertility pills which are very expensive and can lead to a higher risk of twins, triplets, and maybe more, see a doctor to answer your questions more thoroughly.

They will not enhance your chances at becoming pregnant but when you do become pregnant your body will be healthier and better for the baby. You also should be taking plenty of folic acid before you become pregnant. The only thing that can enhance your chances are hitting the right time when you can concieve.

no, they are not to be used as fertility drugs, however, it is a very good idea to start taking prenatal vitamins a few cycles b4 you hope to conceive. They will help to ensure that you body is in optimal form to grow a baby. The over the counter vitamins are just as good as prescription vitamins, just be sure to get a good amt of folic acid. Good luck and have FUN in you baby making adventures!!:)

Prenatal vitamins are often suggested before, trying to concieve, and when someone is trying to concieve. They won't help you to concieve, but they can reduce the incidence of some birth defects, epecially neural tube defects.

No, prenatal pills are for AFTER conception...natal refers to the birth of an infant...not the conception of a pregnancy. So pre natal means BEFORE BIRTH not BEFORE CONCEPTION...
