Sometimes gelsemium is recommended for test taking anxiety but I don't know specifically for ADD symptoms. You might try Chamomila if you find yourself irritable and unable to stick to a task.

From a supplement point of view, many good results have been obtained by people taking fish oil, 1000 mg daily. This can thin your blood so if you're taking any blood thinners, ask your doctor.

I would also recommend a technique called heart math which can help you focus and train you to get out of your head all the time.

Another idea is to consult with a naturopathic physician in your area because they are well versed in homeopathy, herbology, and other less invasive therapies than the pharmaceutical agents. Good luck!!

Drugs won't help you concentrate. They have the opposite effect. We loose our concentration when there is a distraction. The distraction could be a chemical imbalance in the body. It could be a mental block related to past problems or lack of understand. There are two things you can do. Start eating balanced meals, no junk food, no sugar, no additives, no preservatives, no artificial coloring. Fried foods are hard to digest, eat raw foods. For advice on balancing your diet buy: Nutrition Almanac. The mental blocks can be removed by learning to meditate. Mantra meditation works well for releasing past stresses that block our thinking mind.

If you wanna go the natural way, take herbs, fruits & veggies. bee pollen & honey would also energize you, aside from helping you in your concentration. Supplements like Ginkgo biloba would also aid in concentration. You cant' go wrong with these--no side effects!!
