I thought they would have had an open casket for Anna Nicole, I did'nt realize it was too late. There has been no comment on the closed casket decison that I have read. I would have liked to have seen her for the last time in her tiara and gown.
Was she really in there though?????

she's been sitting around for over 3 weeks....she had started to decompose....there's only so long you can wait before burying someone.....maybe if her family and friends hadn't been so stupid and selfish and just let this person that they supposedly "Love" rest in peace...she could have had an open casket then if that is what she wanted (and knowing what I know about Anna, I suspect she would have wanted an open casket if possible)

I actuall read an article stating they had to have a closed casket because they waited too long to embalm the body so it didn't look good enough for a viewing. They actually compared her body to James Brown stating his body is still in better condition because they embalmed right away. James still hasnt' been buried either.

Apparently her body was decomposing. She was a beautiful woman & her friends & family owed her a closed casket making everyone remember her as the beautiful bodacious woman she was. RIP Anna.
I don't think James Brown was in that casket...lol

Her body decomposed to fast, they where saying. My self, I don't understand why we have open caskets, they never look the way
you remember them, And I'm sorry you All ready know they are dead.

I think at this point with her mother planning on appealing the court's decision she won't be able to have an open casket funeral by the time this is all over with...it's ashamed that her mother can't just respect her wishes and let her be laid to rest.

they did have a open casket for her ,but to only about 30 people close friends and family. for the rest it was closed.
