I bought a 65 Mustang. I dont know anything about cars. It wont start. I replaced the voltage regulator, battery, cylonoid, and ignition switch. When I turn the key nohing happens. However It does start when its jumped or I put the screwdriver on the cyloinoid. What else could it be? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Check the starter solenoid. The small wire should read 12 volts with the ignition switch turned to start. If no voltage then check the ignition switch
