In the movie with Leonardo D., his face looks ok after taking off that iron mask after 6 years. What do you think it would really look like?

like a persons skin would look after removing a cast that has been on the leg for 3 months but worse. Most likely black from all the dead skin, maybe a little red from rust, and when washed, pale from lack of oxygen and sunlight.

hate to put a damper on all the decaprio fans but his face wouldnt really matter he would be dead.all iron untill the mid 50s contain large amounts of lead.which is very deadly when ingested or absorbed through the skin.and im pretty sure he wouldnt have lasted six years with lead that close to his mouth and skin.as the old gunfighters use to say "aint no cure for lead poisoning"..

The 1977 movie was much more realistic. Richard Chamberlain starred. His hair was all tangled around his neck and he really looked dirty and washed out.
