Do humans still have that animal instinct? If we do, how much of it is present in our lives? How much of it is gone or left unused? What type of people tend to have stronger animal instincts? Can these instincs be stronger in some people than it is in others? Can the primal/animal instinct be dangerous?

I think all humans have some degree of animal instincts, if nothing else survival and sexual instincts. I'm sure they can be and are stronger in some than others and some have more than just those two. Like hunting, some of us still like to hunt and kill our food, just like an animal and that would be primal to of course. As far as being dangerous, anything can be dangerous, depends on how one handles it.

We may have more instincts than animals. William James said of language, " an instinct to acquire an art ". The work of Noam Chomsky showed that James was basically correct about language instinct. It is incorrect to oppose instinct to learning. Our biology gives us a wide, variant range of expression, instinct and we learn which expressions fit into our lives properly. This approach is yielding great advances in science of late. Read Mark Hauser's " Moral Minds ", to see what the science is saying about our evolved morality.
PS I think it is incorrect to think that instinctt can be stronger in some, rather than others. This would oppose instinct to learning.

many humans do. We have the instincts to protect ourselves and our loved ones in danger, we have the intinct to kill for our food and survival, and theres just so much to list. It's never really unused our insticts. We will use them when it is nessecary. It can be stronger in some people than in others, but it's all on how we are raised.

The note SIN is the church's way of controlling guy! For eons guy has merely been a beast with a complicated style of communique and version to technologies. someone had to set guidelines so as that strolling the streets does no longer be a risky act. And so guy separated sin from instincts and viola...you've the church. In historic cases, to discourage acts of sin severe punishment will be surpassed out to the wrongdoer. It turned right into a gadget to discourage crime. It did not continually artwork because you'll have an company or branch implement it. present day guy has the Justice branch that serves punishment now for all of us who breaks the regulation. We deter crime via creating the punishment severe. It doesn't continually artwork both, although this is the most suitable gadget thus far. this is demanding to escape with crime in recent times. i does no longer say that sin is a synonym for intuition although. because submit to in ideas, we as people have hardship-loose sense and we may be able to with no problem and right now different the version between accurate and incorrect. for most people that is quite demanding to damage someone or opt for to reason discomfort to someone. Sinners are those who continually and knowingly, willingly and wrongfully proceed to do incorrect. they merely do not have a care contained in the international for others. And for this reason, guy needed a reason to punish them. So even as a sin will change into an act antagonistic to the orders of GOD, it become now justifiable to punish that man or woman! The bottome line is....we are all Sinners. And this is okay because we will be forgiven. do merely not proceed to save doing it!

Yes, think about how you feel when someone takes the last slice of pizza that you wanted, I know you might not really care, but there is always that voice in the back of your mind that says, "that little idiot just stole my food"
