You can install the programs on D drive. Or else you have to get softwares like Symantec Partition Magic that can resive and mrge partitions. But the first way is a lot easier and you don't have to disturb the system.

I am guessing here, but I am assuming you have a single drive with two partitions. ( C: and D:) The second partition was to be used for backup, or reduncancy.

Do you have a product like Norton Ghost there?

You don't say what operating system you are using, so it would be difficult to make specific recomentations.

What I would do, is to transfer files you don't use very often to your D: drive. Access the D: drive and see what is on it, then move stuff over from your C: drive. This will free up the space you need.

i think you should copy some of your files.. like musics, videos, or photos, etc to your D drive so the C drive will have more space.. and actually you can also install programs to your D drive too.. when in the installation wizards, you can choose the path of the installation to D drive.. just change the destination folder to a new folder you want on D drive...some programs don't show that on default interface so you need to choose the custom installation to be able to setup these..

Deleting it won’t make a difference. What you need to do is repartition your drives and give more space to use C drive from the D drive by using Partition Magic 8. this software will, however, cost you; it's not free.
