Things are completely different now, I'm only 21 and find myself wishing it would just STOP. I am pregnant with a girl and am tempted to just home school because I can't stand the way these girls act nowadays. I wish I knew the exact answer though.

Because they're teenagers. And look at whats on television nowadays. You turn on the TV and all you see is half naked women and commercials for diet pills and weight loss machines. it's so unhealthy that kids are bombarded with these things everyday. It can lead to eating disorders or unhealthy body image. The media tells girls how to look and those girls act hot because the media also tells girls how to act.

coz thats the way alot of teenage girls act these days! im 16 and i hate the way najority of girls around my age are so superficial. They feel insecure when they just stay normal so they have to act up to feel any sort of security. They would have been like this for a few years so it has become like a normal routine.

Everything is different now, when I was 15 I looked 15. Maybe its something in the formula they had as babies because they all look grown and older than they already are. Its quite scary because there are so many pepohiles out there and these girls try to dress older and sexier. :-(

they're just acting tough...posing. does your daughter act the same when they're over?? as teens, they constantly think all eyes are on them. for some teens, this empowers them as if they're on a stage, and for others, it freaks them out so much that they're constantly obsessed with their looks and actions. some experience a little of both. if you're concerned about her friends or how she's acting, talk to her about it--don't confront her, but kindly say "i've noticed you're acting a little differently when your friends are around." it'll open the dialogue and help her feel comfortable sharing with you.

I guess cause they think it is something major to act like a sl*t. I knew girls like that in highschool and you should see them now with 4-5 kids that all have different daddies. It is pathetic.
