Simple solution to that problem! Wash the garment in White Vinegar added to your washer or sink, if washing in a washing machine use a full cup of vinegar to the wash water, if washing in the sink use just a half cup of vinegar and soak for a few hours and rinse with clear cold water, remember when washing clothes use recommended water temperature on the garment manufacturers tag. The vinegar will remove cigarette smoke and leave your clothes smelling fresh and soft.

If it is washable, then wash it, and when you rinse it add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the water. When you dry it it will remove the odor of cigarettes and of vinegar.

Wash it like usual and put vinegar in the rinse water. Vinegar gets rid of smoke odors very well!! That will take care of everything! Enjoy!

If it's washable, try adding vinegar to the rinse cycle on a regular washer cycle. If that doesn't help, try using a cup of Lysol lemon-scented disinfecting cleaner (the kind you'd mop your floors with) instead of detergent and wash again (do NOT add any other cleaners).

Hi there. Cigarette smoke smell is easily removed by washing the item. Dry clean it if this isn't feasible. Have a great week.

Put it in the washing machine or have it dry cleaned.
If it smells of cigarette smoke it means it was worn and not laundered prior to sending it to you.

Have you tried fabreeze? I use fabreeze on all the clothes in my house and it works good to get the cigarette smell out.

Soak it first in very warm soapy water(about20 minutes) then throw it in the wash again, in very warm water. If it's still there, wash it a second time, but don't dry it until the second wash.
