It is tough to pick and rank them. I want to include Wade, Marion, Amare, and T-Mac but I think the following can be a team of is own even though the question is asking only for the top 6 players.

6 Ray Allen - Consistent shooter who can shoot the light out!
5 Kevin Garnett - Monster in the Paint!
4 Nowitzki - 7 foot shooter who can grap tons of rebounds!
3 LeBron - King James ... that says it all. He will be my first soon.
2 Kobe - Jordan-like player and can take on anyone.
1 Kidd - Mr trouble doubles - all rounder at 6-4.

Well, that depends...

I have 2 lists...

1. The Mamba- Anytime that you can put up 81 points in a game, then you must be doing something

2. Flash- He's like his namesake when he drives in the lane, not to mention he has a wicked jumper

3. King James- People don't realize that he didn't play a lick of college ball. I wonder if he would have gone to Ohio State, what would happen with Greg Oden?

4. The "Big Fundamental- He's going to give you a double-double night in, night out.

5. The "Big Mismatch"- I got a joke for you....How do you defend a 3-point shooting 7-footer...You don't! He simply shoots over PGs,SGs, and SFs and outmoves the PFs and the Cs.

6. The Matrix- He can play any position besides the point and has anyone ever notice that time seems to stand still whenever he's in the air.

But since D-Wade's injured and not playing, I went ahead and redid the list completely

1. Steve Nash- This guy used to play soccer, SOCCER! I wonder would he would be doing the same if he played in the FIFA.

2. T-Mac- If he gets a steady supply of Doan's pain relief, this guy would be unstoppable

3. Mr. Big Shot- Who do you think you are? "Oh I'm just an all star and finals MVP"

4. Manu Ginobili- Did anyone see what he did to Orlando?

5. KG- He's a beast insde, but what really gets me is his loyalty to Minnesota. Why hasn't he been traded yet?!

There's a lot that could go to the #6. The Answer, 'Melo, Agent 0, Vinsanity...

While the popular picks would include the likes of Kobe and Duncan, I will go with: 5) Ray Allen, clearly the leagues best pure shooter since Miller retired; 4) Steve Nash, no one else has shown what an MVP is supposed to be better than Nash. 3) Tracy McGrady, still raw after all these years and if the reigns loosened up he'd score 40 a night. 1) Dwayne Wade, perhaps the leagues most truly gifted player since Micheal Jordan.

6. Dirk Nowitzki- at seven feet, he's a mismatch to every single defender in the league.
5. Amare Stoudamire- i didn't know he could shoot that well from the outside until this year
4. Tracy McGrady- long, athletic shooter with a scorer's mentality
3. Tim Duncan- three rings and a great bank shot
2. Steve Nash- incredible passer and a phonomenal sense of awareness
1. Kobe Bryant- unstoppable offense and a great playmaker
