That's excellent.
Be careful you don't Bench Press yourself into a linebacker position!
Keep up the great work!

I'm sorry, but I am going to go with the consensus here. I can get 225 maybe 10 times on a good day. I'm 6 foot and 260 pounds. I workout 3 to 4 times a week. For a ninth grader, that is man strength and you probably wouldn't be asking us if that is good, because you would probably be playing varsity right now in some sort of capacity with that kinda strength.
I would stay encouraged though. Keep yourself in excellent shape, and allow yourself to grow before you start hitting the weights heavily.

I know this won't be chosen as best answer, simply because it is not an answer you wanted to hear, although it is the truth. Either you are not in the ninth grade, or you are totally BS-ing this. There is no way in hell, no matter how naturally gifted you are, to be able to bench 225 in 9th grade, let alone 15 reps. It is great if you could, but why don't you wait until college before trying anthing above 180.
I guess i can't blame you for asking this question becuase lying isn't illegal, but you are retarded.

225 for 15 is good. It is about a 335lb bench press. Probably better than average.

That is pretty solid...regardess of your size. The NFL Combine and the Nike Combines for HS'ers track how many times you can bench 225 (in addition to the 40, vertical leap, shuttle run...). To get a good gauge of where you stand now and in the future, go to www.sparqtraining.com and you can input your own scores in these areas and then search on other athletes to see how they did. SPARQ is a commonly accepted way of evaluating sports talent by looking at multiple areas (speed, strength, etc). While on Sparq's website, you will see links to the Nike Combines. In addition to signing up for one in your area (they are free), you can view the results from previous combines and see where your bench and 40 results compare with other people in your grade, your position, and your height and weight.

Depnds. Has he gone through puberty - when muscles have grown ? Is he small or is he large/tall? Has he worked up to these levels or not had any weight training? Genetics play a lot in one's phycial abilites. A samll guy will not be able to do the same work as a large guy who works utthe same and leads the same kind of life. On the otehr hand a samll guy who is a jock and weight lits and plays ball willl prpbably out do a fat tall slob any day. A pro weight lifter will not out run a amatuer marathoner due to diffenec=es in training. Good luck and do not hurt yourself one of these days those injuries will come back as old age aches and pains.

Thats good no matter what your size is. If anyone watched the NFL Strongest Man Contest they would see that Larry Allen has won the past two years goind roughly 40 reps. I would say that an average NFL player could do 20 to 25. Keep it up.

For your age, that is pretty good (assuming you're not 6' 6" and 300 lbs)
Keep working your upper body, but make sure you do lots of squats and other lower body exercises too. Strong legs make for a tough runner.

As a frehsman I highly doubt you can do two plates that many times...maybe as a senior and what not
Most players in the combine do only an average of roughly 20-25
Of course it is good.....if it is true
