Call the Social Security Office in your area and ask them what you need to get your card replaced. Usually it takes two forms of id. Your Drivers License and a Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate.. The cost is around 2 -5 dollars to replace it.

You have to go to the social security office and fill out a bunch of paperwork. They will help you out, lost mine a while back and that is where I went.

Go see your local office of the Social Security administration. As long as you have stuff to prove who you are, they'll probably give you a new card.

Why would you want to do that?
The system is on it's way to collapse and the use of their Id number has been grossly abused.

Please go to your nearest Soc. Sec. office, fill out the form to request getting another one (replacement) and give it to the clerk when your number (ticket) is called. It will take about 2 weeks to get it in the mail.
