Love is a physical and emotional connection. Having sex is pure physical.

Sex can be a way in which people share the closeness they feel emotionally. It can promote greater connections through mutual physical release and spiritual bonding.

People who are in love often want to become as physically close as possible. However, it is not necessary. Sometimes after many years together there can be extended periods where there is no sex between people who nonetheless love one another.

Sex also has other dimensions, and it depends on the habits one develops how you express yourself sexually. For some people, sex becomes primarily a recreational activity, a hormonally motivated physical exercise, or a way of earning a living.

However, most people long for the physicality of sex interwoven with the emotional ties of love, and in that way it is making-love-sex.

One is with heart and one is with heat. You don't have to have sex with love but if you love some one that way, it's fun and a bonus.
