I have an MBA and did well on the GRE years ago. I recently sold my business and I am looking for a new challange. I've been dealing with lawyers for 25 years and decided if I can't beat them, join them. But I want to attend a top tier school - of course their PR says no age discrimination - but do they really accept oldies?

I have several friends in the law field and know that law schools do accept older students. The University of Iowa Law School has accepted students that were older (although I don't know their exact ages). Considering that you have worked in the legal field gives you a leg up. Be sure to mention the fact that you have been working with lawyers etc.
The biggest hurdle will be you LSAT score.

Best of luck!

Prepare and take the LSAT.
if you do well, apply.
never too late to go back :)
And the experience of having your business and dealing with lawyers can be a plus for you.

Well there is only one way to find out, and that is to apply! I see many older people in my University classes. Don't be scared of failure. It's better to try and take a change than to not face your fear. Goodluck!

You can always give it a try, or you can go the rest of your life regretting you didn't even try.
