I want to buy one but i dont know what to look for in one. There are so many different kind and makes. What did i look for in one and i dont want to spend to much on one just like $50-$75 so can someone tell me what to look for or tell me what a good one is and where to get one.

I bought one at a Walmart while on a road trip about seven years (a Cobra I think) for $48.00. It may be crude compared to a Valentine but it has paid for itself about 500 times over. I've been waiting for it to break for years but it just keeps going (?)

Valentine One is the best I've found. It will tell you the number of radars that are around and it will show you the direction from where they are coming from.
This will help if there are two cop cars a little apart. You'll speed up after you pass the first one, but you won't know about the second one with most radar detectors.
