I take my Dads driver Marcel with me everywhere, we go to Mindoro, Zambales, Cebu, Apari and always have fun, I think of him as part of my family. Do you have drivers that you feel that way about?

if that's what you feel then why do you have to asked if it's wrong to be friends with the help.

I use to have a personal driver in Manila but he ripped me off on a trip to Angeles City one time and from now on I'll just use Fly the Bus at the Swagman in Manila.

My wife only employs relatives for jobs. Relatives are more trustworthy than strangers.. To me uncle Ito who is a driver for the commercial car is a good friend, sometimes we share beers and let's face it, they are a part of the extended family.

it is no way wrong if u show sincere thankfulness, respect and appreciation to them, but do maintain some distance as some get who get over-familiar tend to lose respect. the surefire way to show some thanks is send a parcel of gift or a box-load of run-me-downs together witha few groceries, toys and whatelse for their families and that's that. then come back and do not be surprised to be treated like a king for nothing at all.

I don't think that it's wrong to be friends with the helpers. If they are really fun to be with, if they are good, if they are honest, if they are trustworthy and if they are really really nice, then you don't have a problem being a friend of your helpers.

If being friend means you care for them, then it should be. Remember, the driver keeps hold of the steering wheel for you.

i think there is a difference between friends and respect and just being friendly to ur help.. you dnt have to be friends but respect each other is good.
