I'm in the market for a condo in Buckhead, Georgia. Want to be more educated about the difference between the two.

A loft is where there is no closed bedroom area it is just open space such as a living room, attic or basement. A condo can be a loft; basically a condo means you own you own real property.

A condominium is a legal type of ownership that is controlled by the laws of your city and state. A loft is merely a type of residence. Lofts, apartments, duplexes, town homes, etc. can all be organized as condominiums.

A condo is an apartment that is owned.

Not much of a difference, a loft generally is much bigger, but the terminology is used to describe both.
