Do you like to get your nails done? If so, what color?

I get my nails done all the time. They look so good. I always get black. What color do you like to get when you either get your nails done, or do them yourself?

I love getting mine done professionally, and when I was doing that regularly, I would get a french manicure of an active length, but I quit going to that particular manicurist, because twice I had a dark spot come onto my nails that appeared to be a type of fungus!!!! My fingertips ached for a short while, and after some tender care, they were all better again!

Now I do mine at home, but I don't add nails, I just clean, buff, shape, and paint them myself, and use a strengthener to keep them growing, take my vitamins to promote a healthy nail and hair growth.

I paint my fingernails an accepted 'office shade' of pink, or shades of brown.

My toes, however are all my own, they get a bright blue, and chrome, and whatever other color I feel up to doing, I love all the funky shades!!!!

I also have my nails done religiously since I'm a huge nail-biter, I get a *very* thin acrylic top coat on my nails which prevents me from gnawing my fingers off and also makes the polish last for about a month +.

I paint them a very dark red. I also work in a corporate environment, so? Deal with them! I wear them very short (just peeking over the finger), and naturally round, with dark nail polish you have to do that if not they look tres Elvira.

My staple color is Essie in Wicked. I haven't used another more than a year.

I love getting my nails done, however I always attempt to make it look as natural as possible for my hands. I get them rounded off, sporty-length, and as thin as possible. I usually pick a French manicure that compliments my nail pick and elongates my fingers. Something with a rounded, sometimes layered look works - I love that in a French manicure and always say no to the rhinestone.

When I get them done I usually go for french manicure because it's too hard to do myself, but when I do them myself I opt for the darker colors. My favorite is Vamp by Chanel.

In agreeance. Supershort black nails rocks right now! I loved it ever since I saw a video of Kate Moss doing a Pirelli shoot and she had on these glam black nails. So cool.

Yea, french manicure, but I don't like plastic nails. I keep mine natural. Or light colors, like beige and pink, or prisma colors. Lighter than my skin tone is really hot.

Whenever I have the extra money I always treat myself to get a manicure and pedicure, and I always get a french style. Love it!!

Pink or red, but only do red if you're older, say like 19 or 20. It will look really bright on a young girl. You could also try corals.
