I would go to my eye doctor or eye care specialist right away...do NOT put any more contacts in your eye. I think they can help you. Do not risk damaging your eye. I'm sure they encounter that problem all the time. good luck.

If you can't find it go to the doctor right away! do NOT put another contact in. Are you sure that it's in there, and it didn't fall out without you noticing? That's happened to me before, but I've always had a friend who's contact tore, and a part got stuck on top of her eye. She had to go to the hospital to get it out.

I've rubbed my eye and had contacts get stuck under my eyelid. It's very uncomfortable, and you definately know it's in there. I had to find a mirror with a good light, find a little piece of the contact that was sticking out, and fish it out.

Good luck!

Go to the ER if there's one close or go to an eye clinic even if you don't have an appt. and tell them your problem - they will tell you what to do or where to go. Don't sleep with it - you may risk sight loss and other damages. This happens quite frequently, so don't get too overworked about it. However, don't get lazy and think you can get it out yourself.

go to the ER or to an Opthamologist/Optometrist immediately. If it slid on top of your eye it is very difficult to get out. This happened to me once and it took me 40minutes to get it out.
