You could if you are doing it on purpose. There are laws aginst distributing viruses. If you do not know there is a virus in an attachment you are sending on, you are not at fault and will not be held liable.

Yes a worm can replicate and infect thousands of computers very fast. The Blaster worm author Parsons could have got slapped with 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine not funny price for immaturity and stupidity eh?

Definitely YES! You're harming somebody else's property and you could get in some serious trouble with the law.

Viruses that damage computers are illegal resulting in goverment, and private prosecution. Plus if a person finds out they can sue you. So eh, wouldn't reccomend it.
