I just got a new computer and for some reason it won't recognize my computer. I have installed the cd and it doesn't work for some reason. Does anyone know how I can get it to work?

You say you just got it, so I'm going to venture a guess that you're running Windows Vista.

If so, I have some rough news for you. Vista STILL isn't supported by Apple yet. They've done one heck of a crappy job with their release schedule. When Vista was released on Jan 30th (After being in beta for an eternity), Apple issued a press release stating that Vista was incompatible with iTunes (it's the other way around, it's Apple's problem, not Microsoft's), and that they would have an update released for it within a few weeks.

I'm still waiting on that update.

In the meantime, your best option is to either wait it out, or transfer your music library to another PC that is still running Windows XP, and use it for the time being.
