I would vote for the Immaculate Reception as the best play, maybe the Heidi Bowl for best comeback

I'd have to agree on "The Drive" by John Elway was the best comeback of all time, but if u r talkin bout 1 play individually, "The Immaculate Reception" is the best play of all time

best play is tough. as a defensive guy, i think of the giants vs. San Fran in the NFC championship game. 1992 i think. Giants were holding on to a slim lead but San Fran was marching down the feild. i knew L.T. was going to make a play and he shook off two blockers, stripped Roger Craig and recovered the ball.
best comeback, i guess the bills against Houston the same year. down by 35 to 3 in the second half with frank Reich replacing the injured Jim Kelley. all Reich does is throw 4 straight touchdowns.
1992 was one of the greatest seasons ever in my opinion. even though my Pats were horrible then.

Too many incredible plays to say one is the best. There are some plays that involve superhuman effort like the afformentioned Lawrence Taylor play or a couple of Barry Sanders runs. The immaculate reception was just dumb luck. The MCM was illegal. I also like Elway's "Drive". Honorable mention to Marino's Fake Spike, it caught the whole jets defense with their pants down.

The 87 Playoff game between the Broncos and the Browns. John Elway and "The Drive". That game winning drive was one for the ages.

The Immaculate Reception. Oh and the "Music City Miracle" shouldn't count because if the REFS hadn't bet on the Titans they would have called it for the illegal play it was. That was a FORWARD LATERAL which is illegal and you watch a replay and you can clearly see it goes like 2 yards forward.

Best play that resulted in a comeback victory was when herm edwards (yeah the coach) picked up pisaricks ill-advised roll out fumble and ran it in for the score. eagles over the giants.
