ok ok the story goes
i am overweight so i kinda have the intention to lose weight to go to the gym . this gym is quiet well known both local and internationally.. so i went in with a friend of mine(she tall slim and hot) where i'm the total opposite..
the heartbreaking part was when i came in it seems that the counter staff thought that my friend was the one signing up not me and talking about the whole package to my friend instead of me!!!
to add salt to the wound ... i saw majority of the people and clients there are all totally fit!! i tell u u cant even find a single fat person over there..so when i came in everyone was looking at me like i;m some sort of an alien!
why are all gym instructors so nasty .. i can do it myself but sometimes it good to have a source of motivator... why are people always not willing to help out a fat person

This is only a guess, but I think you should check out a gym that is for women specifically, so that all the "babes" and hunks are not just there showing themselves off to others in hopes of scoring.

You're picking up on subtleties. It's probably not intentional. I've learned something about exercise. Don't think too much about what to do. Just focus on one thing: doing it. Just commit. Commit because you want to be young, hot, and sexy. Even if you get the blahs, you have to go to the gym. You won't see much improvement the first six months. In two years, you will see a difference. In five years, you'll be a new person. This is something you should want to do for the rest of your life. Another good reason is your heart and other organs are much healthier this way. Everyday, you should walk on the stairstepper or the eliptical machice (cousin of the stairstepper). You should do calensthentics everyday. They are exercises like the military does. Part of calensthentics is lifting weights with very light weights (for girls trying to lose weight). Just go to the gym and stay at last thirty minutes a day. Watch others and copy them. The gym personnel will start to respect you if you show up. I go to the gym 6 days a week. I exercise my upper body on M, W, F, and my lower body on Tue, Th, S. I'm not sure if you can start six days a week, but start with at least three days a week and work your way up. I also threw out all fattening foods from my house. Out went the colas replaced by water and juice. Out went the chips replaced by hot air popped popcorn or lowfat Triscuits. One more thing about working out. It's important to take a good multivitamin. They sell Nature Made at Target, and it's a good vitamin. WalMart carries very limited types of Nature Made. Your health is important. Plus, life is a little funner when you are looking your best. Just take control.

You need to find a better gym. I go to a Fitness 19, and the instructors there are totally helpful. Its also alot less expensive than most gyms, because they don't have water facilities. (No pool or showers, you go work out, then go home to shower.) I paid $175 up front and after that its only $10 a month. I love it because its no frills, no BS. All kinds of people go there, thin, fat and in between. I started going in November, and I've gone from fat to in between! :D

Keep checking out gyms until you find one you can work with. Stay away from the fancy ones, they're crap. Its a place you go to sweat, not a bloody fashion show.

PS. When you find one you like, try out the elliptical machines, they're awesome.

Not all of them are evil. I see some chubs in my gym and they actually work there! not good!

I'd rather workout at a gym that every instructor looks like they stepped out of a magazine!

Because they are shallow people, just use their negativity to fuel your fire, dont care what anyone else thinks, learn to just love yourself and work hard at what you want your body to look like
