i was wondering if anyone had studied this structural dilemma

That was the idea in Newtonian physics. But then came along quantum physics which says there is a randomness in the basis of the universe. So far, quantum physics has been proven to be correct in every scientific test done on it. So it is impossible to know every possibility through rules.

No. One theory I find very interesting is the idea that gravity (being considerably slower than say, light) actually originates in another dimension that bleeds across the mutliverse into our version of reality.
