What I would do is move the bit about treatments towards the end of the speech, and then use that to lead into my conclusion. I would end by talking about how even though phobias can be painful and even debilitating at times, there's still hope. Maybe throw in a success story or two. End on the most positive note possible. Don't pretend it's not a serious issue (It obviously is,) but show that there is help out there for people who need it. Who knows, you just might reach someone in the audience and convince them to get help.

Try asking someone with a phobia that has figured out a way to get over it like people who are afraid of leaving there home (even people with cabin fever is good) and go from there. I have 2 phobias but I have never dealt with it and maybe never will. Some people are made stong enough to have a minor phobia and handle it. Others like me are so afraid that its hard to deal with alone. So what you need to do is find something on the net and try to work something in unless your teacher won't let you use the internet for the report (my teachers never did)

A conclusion is just supposed to summerize the main points of the speech and leave your audience feeling satisfied. Pick out the main points of each section and combine them in a summerizing statment. For example: "As we have seen, phobias are debilitating and come in several varieties(name some of the varieties) However, there is help. Patients can choose from a variety of treatments such as (list the types) to meet their individual needs." Then just add some sort of conclusion sentance that matches your situation. Thank the audience for their time, or ask them to help the situaiton, or whatever seems appropriate for what you are doing.

Relax, it will be great!

read the ending of any article on anything.....read several. you are smart... you can figure it out. you concluded your question just fine. I like to take the first paragraph and sum that up. But mostly I conclude with a refrence to the class I am taking. Good luck!
