Thank you to everyone who answered. I feel a lot better now, because my girlfriend is on her 29th day on a 28 day cycle, and we were worried.

Yes, it can be caused by normal hormonal shifts and/or stress in addition to a lot of other things. As you get older a lot of changes start to set in and ruin your normal cycle pattern. It can also be attributed to the calendar month (ie. 31 day months vs 28 day month).

That is perfectly normal. Your period can be several days early or late and it does not mean anything. If it is extremely painful or lasts for more then a week then see your doctor. Also if you are getting it every two weeks then see your doctor and they can put you on medication to regulate it. No one is the same, I know someone who gets her period only once a year and she is healthy with three children. I wish I had her problem.

yes it is especially if she is under a lot of stress. It can also be affected by other females that she might be spending more time with. It is proven that whole floors of a dorm can start having their cycles at the same time, has something to do with the hormones.

Absolutely! Every girl is different and each can have their cycle affected by many different things. Stress, for example, can make a girl late. Illness is another.

Very. Your period cycle can vary by several days to a week or more, depending on if you've been ill, your mental state, all sorts of things can cause it to fluctuate.
