Thank god that there are smart people out there who don't take the advice of Pet-Not-So-Smart (got that one from you Magic! Loved it!) and question it and do their own research and do what is best for their pet! You go girl! Nah, it won't hurt him to see his reflection and, I bet he doesn't see it all the time anyway. The glass can't reflect all the time. I'm sure he can see you just fine, witness, you say he sits and stares at you when you talk to him. Thank you for being a responsible fish owner!

hmm.... Thats slightly small, yet once you do water variations each and every 5th day, it ought to artwork. in case your getting a woman betta, Then I reccomend starting to be a cover. in simple terms unfold some plastic wrap over the hollow on the perfect, with some holes for air and a extremely greater complete to place nutrition in. it somewhat is a delicate soreness some circumstances besides the undeniable fact that it is the main secure thank you to flow. in case your getting a male, you should cover the tank such as you will possibly with a woman, or you should try this. once you upload water to the bowl (bubble?), depart a secure 3-4 inches of air on the perfect. Your male isn't waiting to bounce that best. nicely, that could desire to do it! sturdy success, i'm hoping your betta enjoys his/her new abode! oh, playstation - the reson that the female desires her tank to be coated is as a results of the fact women an leap greater than adult males. women at the instant are not weighed down by potential of long, beutiful fins as adult males are.

Use an acrylic one, bettas don't need lots of room. Those little itty bitty betta bowls are way to small of course though. Mine is in a Marina Betta Kit tank and he seems perfectly fine. It's just the right size for him, and they're not too expensive either like maybe 10 bucks or so.

Your betta can see out. It looks like he can't because you're trying to look through two panes of glass and you're seeing the reflection. Male bettas are always going to be excited at seeing other male bettas. It's in their DNA. If you keep another male in eyeshot of yours he will flare and display, over time however he'll be come somewhat used to the other fish and won't be as aggressive.

It's actually healthy for a male beta to see it's "reflection". Male betas are naturally territorial and will flare when it sees another male beta. Seeing it's own reflection keeps those basic instincts in tact. If you would still like to reduce the time he is seeing his own reflection, you might want to try a dimmer light bulb for the tank, that could help.
Hope this helps =D

He can see out. He will just be more active in the larger tank and will not sit still and just look as much.

yes it is good for him to see another male betta
as for excercise issues
but no it is very bad for him to be flaring for more then 5 mins because he will get very tired and could get sick
