Is there a new style trend for jeans?

I've seen it only a few times. It's where where women buy extra long bell bottom jeans and then fold them back up their leg. Not rolled up, like in the 50s. These are folded once, like a cuff, but the fold sometimes goes all the way back up to the knee. Has anyone else seen this? Where does it come from?

I have never seen this, but i have seen people fold their regular pants up this way to make capris or knee length pants
