Gitimo - Torture the CIA has been legally protected though -
An Italian court has issued an extradition order for agents who kidknapped Italians and transported them out of the country and tortured them .....The Bush administration is afraid of the truth and won't let them go -
Why is the US government advocating torture - What is the difference between you and the terrorists you claim to be fighting
Why are you protecting the guilty -
Sounds very similar to the Nazi's to me

An internationally recognised court wants to prosecute the guilty - I guess the US is too chicken to defend themselves in court because they are guilty and don't want to get caught -
Too scared to go and defend yourself at trial -

This is a difficult question, because it seems you are stereotyping. Certainly not all Americans are for this, and most of us have no choice as to what the government does. We're just everyday people going about everyday lives. Most people don't care or don't know enough to care, or don't have any influence at all on what the government does.
*Why are we protecting the guilty?*
We're not, the government is. There's a big difference there.

The USA is a party to the Geneva conventions, like it or not regardless of the circumstances torture is a violation of human rights and the persons responsible need to be brought to justice.
A nation needs to stand by it's treaties and agreements. The world functions under written understandings. Nobody should be above the law.

The Bush administration has done and condoned such immoral conduct for the oldest of reasons: because they can. They played the power game, but shortsightedly. They didn't grasp that the U.S. public puts up with such conduct for only so long.
Dubya shoulda listened to his dad more, and to the new american century zealots less.

This is much older tactic than nazi. It is almost natural to want to be the strongest ands thus to survive, some just take it to a different level.
By the way the people giving you this info are also the ones doing it. Don't believe everything you read.

Italy is so full of Muslims and the others are afraid to speak up. You are probably an islamic antagonizer yourself. It aly is lost. There is nothing good coming from Italy. The only thing you have is tourists that want to see old roman history. What have you done for the world peace lately?

Well, first off, they weren't italians, they were arab terrorists that were caught in italy and removed from italy. Italy should be thanking us. Second, there is no "proof" of any torture. Third, I wish we did. While there may be no "proof" that torture works, there is definately no "proof" that it doesn't.
When a fireman fights a brush fire, sometimes he has to start another fire to put out the first. This is called, "fighting fire with fire".
