Since I was maybe 12 (I'm 17 now) I've been having dreams of people dying or just things that are really wrong. I had this dream where I had died from a tornado and the next morning on the news a tornado hit indiana. Last year I dreamed that my grandfather passed away and two days later his brother died... Just lastnight I had a dream where my brother died for me, i'm scared if anyone will pass away in my family...My mom had told me today that I was born with a veil, or caul, and it's said that people may have the ability to see in the future or such things. Is a such thing true?

I never try to think of dreaming of death. I don't think anyone wants to dream of death for that matter. I have school to worry about, death is the last thing on my mind. I wouldn't randomly, before bed, say hey i wonder if i'll have a dream where my brother dies? I'd never want to think of something like that, but it happened.

People who have visions of the future usually see a clear event happening. They may not know who it's related to or the location, but they see it clearly. Your thoughts and dreams don't sound like they have a logical connection. I would brush them off as coincidence. If you think about it.... if you costantly worry about dreaming of death, it's the last thing on your mind. So, you're setting yourself to dream of death. Death is going to happen... regardless... so of course one of these days you're going to be "right" about someone dying close to you. I would suggest reprogramming your thoughts before bed. Create an imaginary place or fantasy list of characters to occupy your mind until you are asleep. No harm in trying anyway.

It could be. I occasionally have them, but they're usually nothing important........snatches of conversation, things like that. Of course, not all of my dreams come true which is a really good thing.
