I've heard that when you uninstall the game there's a some cocky message from blizzard. is that true? Something like "we're too good for you" or something like that. Well maby not like that but they say "screw you" in a very formal way.

just wondering, to those of you who have quit that game and uninstalled it from your computer, is that true?

"Cancel Subscription
Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription to World of Warcraft? You're making the peon cry. Before you cancel your subscription online, we would love to hear from you by telephone. There are many steps that our representatives can take to address any problems you may be experiencing. Please call us at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD to talk to a Blizzard representative. If you still want to deactivate your subscription online‚ please answer the following questions to help improve the overall quality of the game:

If you experience any problems while trying to cancel your subscription please contact Billing and Account Services at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD."

"If you choose to deactivate your subscription‚ you will still be able to play until your currently paid for time expires. The peon is full-on weeping now. We hope you're happy. Are you positive you want to deactivate your subscription?"

I dunno, doesn't sound cocky to me. More on the whiny "please don't leave us!" side than the "screw you" side.

And then when you change your mind:

"Don't Cancel Subscription
The peon accepts your apology. *Sniff* He's sorry too. Hopefully the emotional scarring will heal in time."

It's actually kinda cute and pathetic at the same time, with a picture of a crying peon and a human /begging you to stay.
