Right click my computer.
Click hardware.
Click device manager.
Click the plus sign next to Disk Drives.
Now you will see your complete model number of the hard drive.

Type this complete number/letter combination into your web search engine and you will find out what type of hard drive you have!

If you mean how much space is on it, go to "My Computer" and double-click on the C drive. It should then say how much space is available and the total hard drive space on the left-hand side.

If you want to see what brand it is, you *might* be able to that through BIOS, but don't change anything in BIOS, or else you might get adverse effects. To get to BIOS, usually your computer will prompt you to press a certain key if you want to enter BIOS. Sometimes it says setup (at least for me) but it may be different for you. This is usually right when your computer turns on. (For Windows, anyway.) You might be able to see what brand it is, but if that STILL doesn't work, you'd have to open up your computer and see which company manufactured the drive.

Hope this helps.
