I assume games that already did originally, like Legend of Zelda, do.
But did they add a save feature to games that didn't originally?

If not, which virtual console games have a save feature, or at least a password system.

There is something called suspend play. If you wanna stop playing a game, but don't want to start at the beginning, press the home menu, and return to the Wii Home. When you go back to the game, it will be right where you left off. Just be sure to do this every time you are going to turn the game off if you don't want to start over.

Games which had a save feature have one, games which have the password system still use the password system, though password ( cheats) seldom work as they did with the original. There is no new mod to save these games.

Older classic games from the NES and Genesis don't let you save. Most SNES games have internal saving. The Wii will automatically suspend your game when you exit.
