I listen to my music loud (heavy metal) and i just dyed my hair black and it seems like no one wants to sit with me. Its like they go out of there way not to. and when they do have to they leave as soon as theres another seat open. I never talk unless people talk to me (wich is never) so why dont they sit with me?
its the school bus and im 12 if that has anything to do with it

o maybe they think your weird which your not i dont sit with anyone on the bus unless they need to sit with me and i only talk when im talked to im 14 maybe your shy i know i am its ok just try to talk about something like hi

Your hair isn't the problem, but maybe the loud music is.
How can you expect someone to want to sit next to you and talk to you if you have your music on so loud that you couldn't hear what they're saying anyway? Show a little more friendliness and take off the headphones, and people will see you as approachable.

smile, smile, smile. People won't approach you if you look unapproachable, super models have the same problem. If people are mean to you write them off, the good ones won't care what you look like or listen to. You only have to ride the bus till you get a car or graduate, and chances are you'll never see most of those people again. If you do it will just be when your getting your change or ordering food. I'm 26 I had a similar high school life, and now I'm popular, have friends, and play in my own metal band....life is good.

Appearance probably, i wore dark clothes in school and i was a bit shy and usually i didn' t really start conversations i would wait to be spoken to...It seems that through life experiences i realized that i was missing out on meeting alot of new people,by being quiet and shy, Try talking to others or even a smile and be courteous it helps. It's just a thought and then you may want to just stay to yourself, i still do that just because i do like to keep to myself.....oh and in school kids are always judgmental, find a few really good friends and be loyal to them.

Personally I'm not heavy metal music fan & I do not like loud music

Screw them if they don't. I am a fan of metal. You can take up two seats if you want. If you do want someone to sit with you, you could talk to some of the kids and try to be friends. Sitting by yourself isn't that bad.

Their all to busy following the trends and what everyone else is doing. Ignore them. And hey no one ever sits next to me on the bus either I think its because they think I'm going to all of the sudden ask them a trillion questions about the Beatles. No one ever takes the time to get to know people anymore everyone is so superficial

Maybe they are getting a bad vibe from you or something. Try talking to them, or at least say hi every once in a while.
Trust me, it's better to sit alone that to have random people sit right next to you in a bus (public transportation) that's nearly empty!

People are just like that. If people don't see what they like on the outside of other people - they tend to avoid those people. No one hardly ever looks on the inside anymore, isn't that sad. I feel for ya.
I myself sometimes judge people by the outside , but I try my hardest not to. Maybe if you show people how nice you are, then someone might sit by you.

it's because you're an individual. and that makes you unique. i do the same thing (listen to my metal music loud). metal is and individualistic type of music and the mainstrem world doesn't understand that. mainsream is afraid of metal and individualism because we one: refuse to follow blindly to what they want and two: we like to talk about things that are, in their point of view, taboo. don't worry about those people, one of these days they'll understand that they're missing out on things that really. you will find individuals like yourself eventually.
