I can't lay claim to the shot speed, but to kick a power shot, you need to put your whole body into it.

Think beyond your foot and your leg. Picture your whole body as one giant spring. For a right footed kick, picture your arms and your torso wound up before the kick. As your arms and torso unwind counterclockwise, in the midst of your right legged swing, more power is given to the speed of your leg swing.

The power of your shot is directly related to the speed of your foot. This technique will give you greater foot speed.

It's mostly about the technique but you do need some leg strength.

Point your toes down and lock your ankle down.

when striking make sure your leaning forward, and your knee is over the ball to flex outward.

after you strike, follow through and the higher you point your toes up, the higher the ball will go.

The best way to shoot is like a front snap kick with your laces.

you want to keep you ankle sooo tight that it will be a clean, solid strike.

if it's having too much backspin than your toes aren't pointed down.

start practicing with that technique just shooting pk's and once your better start dribbling the ball then

strike when the ball is moving. But it is more difficult to follow the technique when the ball is moving.

step into the kick, plant your left foot (for right handed) hard for balance, aim the ball where you want it to go and kick with the laces. Hey if your ten and you got a 45 mph kick that's pretty good already.

Being only 10 you have good speed. You need practice, and carbohydrates. The answers by others are good, and are purely technical. You can't calculate the angle and propotionality during a free-kick. You need to be ANGRY to get your feet to kick the ball as hard as you can, as if you are ramming into something/somebody. Also, thigh exercises would increase your strength. ALL THE BEST!

kick the ball with the inside of your foot and kick the ball somewhere near the bottom

also if that doesnt work, then step forward and kick the ball at a vertical angle so kick the ball where the laces are on your shoes and kick it somewhere near the bottom
