Definitely smooth! Too much hair is disgusting! Although the absolute worst is when they are half smooth and half hairy. That is the grossest! At work I had a customer who came through the drive thru with his shirt off and it was clear that he did not do a very good job of shaving and I was disgusted.

Smooth is nice, but a little bit of hair never hurt anyone.
A guy that is too smooth is way worse!

I prefer them too smooth, but only in the right places like chest, underarms,and face.
