Actually no, you have several weeks, I am not sure how many, but you do need to report it as soon as you can.
My employer went through this, with an empolyee recently. My employer wound up losing a lawsuit, and the employee was even in the wrong. But you do have plenty of time to report it, it is in the national publication of employee rights, it should be posted somewhere at your job. Know your rights, it is important.

No it is not too late- but I would do it today, due to the fact that the longer you wait, the less convincing you are going to be. My husband is disabled and cannot work, due to many injuries at work- without his reporting each injury in a timely fashion, he would not have any benefits at all. For your sake, report it asap.

Maybe. You need to tell your supervisor immediately, no matter what the injury may be.
