I had this situation actually happen to me. I dropped both of them. They didn't deserve me. But they did deserve each other because not three months after they started dating, she went out on him. I found it kind of funny. Remember time heals all wounds and wounds all heels.

Come on now, what is the real issue?? If you feel slighted, then just give up the friendship. Betrayed?? Cute word---you were friendly with a person who obviously cannot be trusted--thus they are not a friend--so make new friends. People who do this are not very nice, but you can get past it--you can't stop human nature--they wanted to go out--so they did...get over it, skip the drama and move on.Life is tough, learn to deal with these things.

Just cut them both out your life. I suppose you could see it as being lucky that you no longer have a back stabbing friend and a slut of boyfriend.
People may tell you to cause trouble for them, but I would suggest you let them get on with it. Have you heard the expression "what comes around, goes around"

You cut the supposed best friend and boyfriend out of your life. Just as a doctor gets rid of a cancer, you get rid of these two completely. It is time to find a best friend who knows how to be a friend and find a boyfriend who knows what a commitment is.

Well... first, I think I would strip her of her best friend ranking, and demote her to Whore-Faced-Bi+ch-Bag! ... what I would do???... I'm pretty sure it would involve large granules of salt, razorblades, some needle-nose pliers, a couple packages of fishing hooks, 4 gallons of Liquid Plumber, several feet of surgical tubing, a stapler, a couple hundred staples, 20 lbs of crushed up broken glass, a large plastic bag...large enough for a... big dog or a mannequin, a wooden baseball bat, and lots and lots of glue:)

I'd ask for an explanation. I'd stop trusting the both of them and depending upon their reaction to my inquiry I'd consider distancing myself from the pair.

Oww I hate that level of rejection. It just feels so bad.
You are not alone nor are you the first one it has happened to.
I'll confess this here, anonymously, when someone did that to me they then (STUPIDLY) confided in me and I ratted them out to Law Enforcement!
Hell hath no fury!
Probably won't work in your case, but it was very gratifying to wreck their lives after being treated like that.

Dump them both. Neither one can be a trustworthy friend.
