Hello,
I just received an alert from my McAfee anti-virus program for 'RemAdm-PSKill'...Can you please tell me if this is a legit program/file, or should it be deleted? McAfee is asking me if I should trust or delete it. Thanks for any help you can provide!!

RemAdm-PSKill is a backdoor file. It can be used by system administrators to get into systems remotely. It can also be used by a virus to provide a backdoor into your system.

It has been around since 2003.

If you have a subscription to McAfee and your system is telling to you to get rid of it, it would be a good idea.

If you are ever in doubt about removing something that comes up as a dangerous file, do a little research first. Do your own web search; do not click on a link that you receive in an email or pop-up.
