In my humble opinion, the clear choice is Utah's Jerry Sloan. just the fact the man's been denied the award as long as he has is criminal, last year the Jazz didn't make the playoffs and now their a contender in the West.that should be enough proof.

Jerry Sloan. He took a rookie heavy team and has made an incredible job. Love the way Williams has responded to him. Boozer and Okur are better than anyone thought they would be. Fisher has been an eye-opener. He's probably the one move that has got the team heading toward a decent play-off run. Plus the response of the now deep looking bench - Harpring, Collins, Giricek, Milsap. And getting a decent game out of Araujo last month is reason enough for him to win the award.

Its gota be Van Gundy...he totally turned the Rockets around after last year. ANd even with the injury to Yao, he's kept the Rockets is the 5th seed. I don;t know why everyone forgets about him.

Sam Mitchell. His team last year was just so terrible. Now, they are in playoff contention. Also, Chris Bosh has emerged as a dominating force all in one year.
