I am studying at USC (Queensland, Australia) and have done three work placements so far. My last one was horrible. My mentor was mean, uninterested and gave no feedback. My other two were ok and I am going on my fourth in a couple of weeks. I love doing on job training and have had both good and bad experiences. I suppose that coms with the territory though!!!

I'm in manager training at the company I work in. I have to learn each person's job in the department I will supervise and then learn the managment roles. Each day, I have a trainer review and am evaluated on each position. The idea is that by learning each of the roles, I will be able to supervise the workers.
